Camp Rock
The story follows Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato), an aspiring young musician who is hoping to become a professional singer. Mitchie wants to go to a music camp named "Camp Rock". Since the family can't afford the tuition, Mitchie's mother arranges to cater food for the camp, thus allowing Mitchie to attend. Mitchie tries to conceal this from her friends at camp. She is shy to sing in front of people. Spoiled brat/pop star Shane Gray (Joe Jonas) has been assigned to be in charge of dance classes for one month at Camp Rock by his bandmates Jason (Kevin Jonas) and Nate (Nick Jonas). Shane hears Mitchie singing and falls in love with the voice, but does not know the identity of the singer. Shane spends much of the film searching for the girl with the voice. Shane and Mitchie have various interactions, and, when Shane learns her identity, a romance between the two blossoms.
Camp Rock 2 : The Final Jam
Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato) returns to Camp Rock to be reunited with all of her camp friends. Shane Gray (Joe Jonas) and his band mates and brothers Jason (Kevin Jonas) and Nate (Nick Jonas) arrive at camp in a chicken wagon after their bus had fallen into the lake. Meanwhile, Axel Turner (Daniel Kash) , the director of the new Camp Star located across the lake, invites Camp Rock to attend a friendly bonfire. He is also Brown's (Daniel Fathers) former bandmate with the Wet Crows. After seeing Camp Star's musical performance headlined by Luke Williams (Matthew "Mdot" Finley), Camp Star's top performer, many campers, including former Camp Rock diva Tess Tyler (Meaghan Jette Martin), decide to leave Camp Rock and join Camp Star along with many of the staff after Axel promises to double their salaries he also says the cabins are air conditioned). Tess quickly becomes partners with Luke on all of Camp Star's performances. Although they sing very well together and look like they make a great team onstage, they constantly fight over the spotlight and believe that competition is all that matters.
